Thiruvananthapuram: Devaswom Minister Kadakampally Surendran today said that devotees shall not be permitted entry to Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple from tomorrow. Only the scheduled two weddings will be conducted, he told media at Thiruvananthapuram.
The fear of coronavirus exists in the district after number of coronavirus cases surged. Owing to this the temple’s administration committee decided to forbid entry of devotees and informed their concern to the government.
The temple workers are highly vulnerable to virus infection. Therefore, the other temples can decide according to the situation.
