Thrissur: Devotees protest against Chief Minister at Guruvayur. Devotees raised “Swami Saranam” prayer and protested against the dais decorated by CM. The security cameras and the face detection cameras fixed at Guruvayoor, under Prasadam Nagaram Scheme of the Central Government and Guruvayur Satyagraha Memorial built by Guruvayoor municipality, was inaugurated by CM.
When CM made his inaugural speech, the devotees protested near Manjulaal, under the leadership of Mahila morcha state general secretary Adv.Niveditha. The police had immediately arrested all of them and cleared the scene. CM played with his words so well, the Government’s program was more likely to be another explanation meeting.
CM had another program to attend on his way the police had to work hard, to stop Congress activists, from showing black flag to the CM.
Organizers tried at their best to keep the fact hidden that what is inaugurated by CM is a program under the Central Government. Prasadam Nagaram Scheme is program under Central Government’s Scheme for Temple and Urban Development.
