Muvattupuzha: The Muvattupuzha Vigilance Court dismissed the bail plea of the first accused in the flood fund scam Vishnu Prasad. He was arrested again in the second case pertaining to the scam. He has been accused of taking Rs 73 lakh from the treasury using forged receipts.
The investigation is still underway.
Vishnu Prasad and the other accused were granted bail after failing to file the chargesheet in the first case.
However, on the complaint filed by ADM, Vishnu Prasad was arrested again by the Crime Branch. Nobody else has been arrested in the second case.
