Kochi: A health worker has been tested positive for COVID-29 in Ernakulam due to which about 40 children have been put in the quarantine centre.
A junior public health nurse at the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Chowara was confirmed with the disease. She started posing symptoms last Wednesday and on the same day the nurse had given vaccination to 40 children.
Owing to this, the children and their families were quarantined.
The nurse’s husband was also confirmed with coronavirus and his contact list is also being traced.
