Thiruvananthapuram: BJP state president K Surendran said that during the coronavirus crisis, the Left government is looting the poor people by increasing the bus fare.
“When the Centre extended its scheme of free ration to the poor for next five months, here the state government is helping bus owners by charging increased fare from the people,” he said in a statement.
When the rich have their own vehicles, the poor and ordinary people depend on bus transportation. Also increase on the concession of students is inhumane.
He alleged that CM Pinarayi Vijayan has once again ditched the people during the hour of crisis.
