Kozhikode: BJP state president K Surendran has come with a serious allegation that Chief Minister’s office got to have close links with gold smuggling. Swapna Suresh is accused in several cases, he said.
K Surendran said that when Customs caught the gold smugglers, the first call they dialled was to the Chief Minister’s office.
“Those who have been sacked from the consulate have links with CPM leaders. IT Secretary Sivasankaran Menon also has close links with the accused. The Chief Minister’s Office should clarify on what grounds did Swapna Suresh has a job in the IT department,” said BJP chief.
