Kochi: The high court has directed to protect the life and property of Sister Lucy Kalappura. The interim order of the single bench of the high court was issued on a petition filed by the sister seeking protection.
The interim order was issued on a petition filed by Sister Lucy Kalappura seeking the court’s intervention on issues including creating a safe living environment inside the Karaikkamala Math. Sister Lucy also alleged that she was living in fear inside the monastery and that there was a threat from the provincial superior.
After considering the petition, Justice Raja Vijayaraghavan issued an interim order directing that Lucy be given protection. The petition will be reconsidered by the single bench of the high court after ten days.
