Thiruvananthapuram : MP Shashi Tharoor have insulted Hindu women who protested in Sabarimala women entry, to protect their faith. Shashi Tharoor in a Malayalam daily has expressed his opinion on women who protested, as victims of stockholm syndrome.

Women who came to protect the customs are prisoners of faith, is what concluded by the MP, in addressing the women as victims of stock home syndrome. Stockholm Syndrome refers to the emotional attachment of the victims to those who have subdued, kidnapped, or held them captive.

The word is based on an incident happened in Stockholm of Sweden, 43 years ago. A group attacked and held captive all the employees of a Bank in Stockholm for 6 days. Meanwhile the hostage found themselves emotionally attached to the attackers. This is what later explained as Stockholm Syndrome.

The protest was out of devotion, devotion being compared to a state of sickness. Also for a matter of fact, many words have been replaced and edited in the Malayalam write up, than from the English one published.

Judges are logical beings functioning upon the set of laws and its predecessors, on the other hand devotees doesn’t have any fence. Devotees tend to believe in miracles magics wonders and other illogical super human dedications states Shashi Tharoor.
