Thiruvananthapuram: The BJP state core committee decided at the webinar meeting today to intensify the agitation demanding the resignation of the Chief Minister. The fasting strike of senior leaders will begin tomorrow.
The fasting will begin from 10 am till 5 pm.
The party’s state president and former presidents will be on a fasting strike from August 1 to 18. On August 1, MLA O. Rajagopal will fast in Thiruvananthapuram while party state president K Surendran will observe fasting on 18th August in Ernakulam.
Union Minister V Muraleedharan, senior leaders Kummanam Rajasekharan, PK Krishnadas and CK Padmanabhan will observe fasting in different districts. Along with the strike, virtual rallies will be held in the respective districts.
