Kochi: The Customs officials are interrogating a jewellery owner Shamsudheen and a relative of Samju who was arrested earlier in connection with the gold smuggling case.
After arresting Samju, he had said that he handed over the gold to Shamsudheen. The latter had filed an anticipatory bail plea in the High Court but was rejected.
Meanwhile, the special court (financial crimes) will give the verdict on the bail plea submitted by Swapna Suresh, second accused in the case.
