Kannur: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has demanded for a probe into land scams in the Chief Minister’s constituency, Dharmadam. The demand comes after land owners were being ditched unknowingly with forged documents and selling the property to others.
Janam TV had earlier too reported that the land meant for the heirs post the death of the father was being encroached and sold without owners knowledge. Many such scams were being reported in the region. Following this, the BJP leadership demanded a detailed inquiry into the incident.
The BJP alleges that a large land mafia group is operating in the CM’s constituency.
Even the order of the District Collector was forged by the fraudulent team. It is also alleged that despite knowing this, the district administration remained silent.
