Thiruvananthapuram: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has obtained three months’ CCTV footage from the Secretariat. It is learned that the NIA has also received footage of Swapna Suresh, main accused in the gold smuggling case, reaching the Secretariat.
The National Investigation Agency had requested the footage of a year. The NIA had asked the state government for footage from 70 cameras in the Secretariat.
The NIA team conducted an inspection at the secretariat last day as part of gathering information related to gold smuggling. The NIA investigation team inspected the server room and the locations where the cameras were installed.
