Kochi: The prosecution has moved a special court in Kochi in connection with the actor attack case, seeking to cancel the bail plea of actor Dileep, an accused in the case.
The prosecution alleged that Dileep is trying to influence a witness in the case, which is a violation of bail conditions.
The plea will be considered by the court on Tuesday. Trial proceedings in the case are presently underway.
The Supreme Court has been told by the special court judge that within six months of time the court procedures will be completed. The hearing of the case had resumed at the end of June after an interval due to coronavirus pandemic.
