Police violence against pilgrims, Hindu leader Sasikala teacher arrested without any provocation : Hartal against posses atrocity

Pathanamthitta : Sabarimala Karma Samathy chair person K P Sasikala teacher was arrested without any provocation. Sasikala teacher was on her way to make darshan to Sabarimala, she who is a devotee and was following the rituals along with abstained for days was arrested and was taken to Ranni police station.

Sasikala teacher was stopped at Markoottam, she with her Irumudikett carried herself in black dress as a part of the tradition, was restricted from trekking to Sabarimala. The same police force who tried to protect the deeds of atheist activists who wanted to break the tradition of the temple and challenge the believers.

Sasikala teacher and Scheduled caste Morcha State President Advocate P Sudheer were arrested by the police. Harthal is called in by Sabarimala Karma Samathy and Hindu Aikya Vedi today, in protest against the actions of the police. Sasikala teacher was arrested at Markoottam by 2.00 am.

Posses showed their violence at media representatives as well. Janam TV reporter Arun Kodungoor who tried to get Sasikala teacher’s response on the incident at Pampa was pushed by the policemen and they shot to attack him.

Police Raj in Sabarimala devotees are facing the brutality of the police where non-believers are pampered and treated like the apple of the eye. Women protesters are up with prayer protest in front of Ranni Police station, Sasikala teacher on hunger strike till she is allowed to make darshana. The police as habitual to harass the devotees at no point is willing to take a call.
