Kochi: A Special NIA court on Friday again sent the main accused in the gold smuggling case, Swapna Suresh in judicial custody till October 8.
She was presented in the court after interrogation who was in the custody of NIA for the last four days.
Swapna Suresh told the court that she be shifted to nearby in Kochi from Thrissur prison. The NIA team also informed the court that Swapna has to be questioned again in the case.
The probe team had grilled both Swapna Suresh and former principal secretary to Chief Minister M Sivasankar on Thursday that lasted for more than 8 hours.
