Thiruvananthapuram: CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has said that he will legally oppose the CBI taking over the case on the Life Mission. He alleged that the central investigation agencies are given all rights according to their whims in the state, however, the CPM is not worried about it.
According to Kodiyeri, the central agencies are looking into the possibility of plotting against the government. He said that they are not investigating into the gold smuggling case and rather focused on other issues.
“If they think that the state government can be toppled by the central agencies, it will certainly not happen,” he said.
Kodiyeri also said the CPM has decided to launch a campaign to expose the political motives of the central agencies.
