Kottayam: Former Minister and MLA Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan visited Seva Bharati Annadanamandapam again in Panachikadu temple in connection with the Navratri celebrations.

At the same time, the CPM has started to stir controversy over his visit to the Seva Bharati. The CPM will stage protests tomorrow in Kottayam constituency stating Thiruvanchoor and RSS have colluded. However, Radhakrishnan has responded to CPM’s allegations.

The former minister said that he went to evaluate the activities happening at the Seva Bharati centre.

Radhakrishnan said that there was a need to check if the corona protocol was being followed.

“The controversy was sparked by the fact that the CPM did not know what a temple was,” he said.
Radhakrishnan hit out at the CPM asking that shouldn’t these people go to the temples directly?

“If they have faith in God, shouldn’t they respect the faith of believers in God?”, he asked.
