Pampa : On the fourth day of pilgrimage, Sannidhanam is unoccupied. Previous years ten thousand devotees trek Sabarimala in an hour, today even after the first four hours of the 4th day only eight thousand devotees have ascended Sabarimala.
50 KSTRC buses stopped services because of the decline in devotees numbers. Instead of 10 electric buses only 3 are servicing.
Sabarimala will be visited by the Human Rights Commission to check on the basic facilities, as allegations against the government on not providing the basic amenities call for many protests in the State.
