Thiruvananthapuram : On the grounds of A N Radhakrishnan’s hunger strike, Yuvamorcha marched demanding CM to adopt democratic measures on Sabarimala issue. Police attacked the Yuvamorcha activists who marched. Police attacked with water cannon and grenade as the first phase. As the activists were about to disperse, the police attacked with lathi. Numerous people were injured in the charge. Following this, leaders and activists protested in front of the Cliff House under the leadership of P K Krishnadas.
A N Radhakrishnan’s hunger strike demanding the withdrawal of prohibitory order announced at Sabarimala and cancellation of fake cases registered against K Surendran. The strike in front of the Secretariat is on its 7th day today.
