Discrepancies have been found in the police evidences in the case of former SFI leader Vidya and her alleged fake certificate. According to the police reports, there is no video footage of K Vidya attending the Attapadi College for interview. The police claim that the college’s hard drive, which is capable of storing footage for up to five days. However, the college principal contradicts this, stating that the college has 12 days of video backup and that the video has been taken away by the police.

The police also collected Vidya’s self-declared biodata; they emphasised that without interrogating Vidya, nothing can be confirmed. Regarding the fake experience certificate, police have recorded the statement from the Government Attapadi College principal. Police also recorded statements from all members of the interview panel. The principal stated that the fake experience certificate had been identified by all the members of the panel.

As part of the case investigation, Agali police last day visited Vidya’s house in Thrikaripur for a search. But when Thrikaripur police reached Vidya’s house, the house was locked. Later, the house was opened by one of her relative. The original copy of the fake certificate has yet to be found.

Five days have passed since the case was registered against Vidya, but she has not been found yet. There are also allegations that Vidya is hiding in a hostel at Kaladi University.
