SFI State Secretary PM Arsho has responded to the accusations surrounding SFI leader Nikhil Thomas, who allegedly obtained admission into a PG course using a fake B.Com certificate. Arsho, who himself faces allegations of passing university exams without appearing for them, addressed the matter during a press conference held in Alapuzha. As per reports Nikhil Thomas is currently pursuing M. Com second year at Milad-E-Sharif Memorial (MSM) College in Kayamkulam but failed to complete the B. Com degree.
Arsho stated that the authenticity of Nikhil’s certificate would be thoroughly investigated, and appropriate action would be taken if he is found guilty. SFI demanded Nikihil to submit all relevant details concerning the certificate.
Meanwhile, KSU (Kerala Students Union) has come forward with allegations that Nikhil, who presented the fake certificate, received support from both the MSM College management and SFI. KSU district president AD Thomas revealed that they had filed an inquiry under the RTI (Right to Information) Act with the MSM college. However, they did not receive any response from the management. KSU is now planning to pursue legal action in this matter.
