Thiruvananthapuram: In a recent turn of events, actor Bala has found himself entangled in a legal dispute after allegedly entering the residence of YouTuber Aju Alex, commonly known as “Chekuthan,” and reportedly brandishing a firearm. The incident transpired as a result of a longstanding feud between the two individuals, with Aju Alex known for producing videos containing explicit content on his YouTube channel.
According to the complaint, which was filed by Aju Alex’s friend Muhammad Abdul Khader, the encounter occurred when Bala, accompanied by Santhosh Varki, also known as ‘Aaraattu Annan,’ and another man, entered Aju’s residence. It is claimed that Bala proceeded to discard his possessions when he entered the house and issued threats against the YouTuber’s life. The underlying motive behind the alleged threat is believed to stem from Aju’s previous video content that targeted Bala.
In response to the incident, Bala took to social media, posting a video where he urged for a reduction in the use of profanity, particularly for the sake of young children. He clarified that his intention was not to issue a warning but rather to convey a firm directive. Bala further emphasised that, while criticism in any form is acceptable, the use of offensive language is not condoned. The situation remains dynamic as the video recording of Bala’s statement circulates across various social media platforms.
