KOTTAYAM: Minister VN Vasavan has expressed the belief that LDF candidate Jaick C Thomas would harness the wave of sympathy in the Puthuppally bye-election. Vasavan emphasized that voters are inclined to give Jaick, who has faced defeat twice before, another chance this time, making the LDF’s victory highly likely.
Furthermore, the minister pointed out that a wave of sympathy in Puthuppally would work in favor of the LDF. He highlighted the significant turnout at Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s election campaign events, with thousands of attendees.
With the bye-election just days away, top leaders are vigorously campaigning for their respective fronts in Puthuppally, filled with optimism for victory. Union Ministers V Muraleedharan and Rajeev Chandrasekhar are campaigning for the BJP, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is supporting the CPI(M), and Ramesh Chennithala and V. D. Satheesan are representing the Congress.
