Thrissur: A devoted individual is preparing to present a gold crown to Guruvayurappan on the auspicious Ashtami Rohini day of September 6. KV Rajesh Acharya of Kainoor Tharavadu, Thrissur is offering this golden crown as a birthday gift to the Lord. The crown, weighing approximately 38 sovereigns, has been meticulously crafted.
On the day of Chathayam, the lord received a gold vessel weighing about 100 sovereigns as a generous offering. This splendid golden vessel was presented as a gift by the TVS Group. The estimated cost of this offering is approximately Rs 49,50,000. The dedication ceremony occurred on the fourth day of Onam, just before the afternoon Puja.
