Adoor: A report said that a man committed suicide after killing his eight-year-old son at Adoor in Pathanamthitta district. The deceased are Mathew P Alex and his son Melvin. The neighbors came to know of the gruesome crime, which occurred today morning, only when Mathew’s younger son informed them about the murder and suicide.
Mathew’s wife is working abroad and he along with his two sons resided at their home at Enath Thattarupadi in Adoor. Mathew’s younger son Alwin found Melvin’s dead body and informed the neighbors.
It is suspected that Mathew committed the crime under the influence of alcohol.
