College student sexually assaulted on bus ; accused arrested

Thrissur: A college student was sexually assaulted on a private bus in Guruvayur. The Guruvayur police have arrested Vincent (48)  native of Erumapetty in connection with the incident, which occurred this morning. The student was assaulted on a private bus operating on the Kunnamkulam-Pavaratty route. Upon receiving the information, Guruvayur police promptly reached the scene and took the accused into custody. Authorities are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the matter, and Vincent is expected to face legal proceedings for his alleged involvement in the assault.
