THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: After several consecutive days of rising gold prices in Kerala, there has been a slight decline in the price today.
The US Federal Reserve recently increased interest rates from 4.6% to 5.1%, this may fluctuate the global gold market.
Today, the price of one sovereign of gold fell by Rs 120, bringing the market price to Rs. 44,040 per sovereign. For 22ct gold, the price has dropped by Rs 15 for one gram, with the market price now at Rs 5,505. As for 18 ct gold, the market price for one gram is Rs. 4,558.
The price of silver remains unchanged, with one gram of hallmarked silver priced at Rs 108.
