Thiruvananthapuram: The project to install a 50-kilowatt solar plant at the Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple has officially begun. This project, worth Rs. 30 lakh, was started in collaboration with Canara Bank.
The inauguration ceremony was held this morning at the east entrance (Kizhakke Nada) of the temple. Canara Bank General Manager S. Premkumar and Managing Committee member Avittam Thirunal Adithya Varma inaugurated this project. Temple Executive Officer B. Mahesh, Manager B. Sreekumar, Canara Bank Deputy General Managers K.S. Pradeep and S. Saravanan, Fort Branch Chief Manager Rajesh Rajmohan, and Senior Manager P.S. Srikanth were present at the event.
