THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A medical student was found dead in her hostel room in Tamil Nadu.
The medical student from a private medical college in Kulasekaram, Kanyakumari district was found dead.
According to the police reports, Sukrita, the daughter of Sivakumar from Thoothukudi district, committed suicide.
Sukrita was in her second year of medical course.
The police have stated that the reason for her suicide was alleged mental pressure from her teachers. On the day of her tragic death, Sukrita did not attend her classes and remained in her hostel room. It was only during the night when her friends visited her room that they discovered what had happened.
The body was shifted to Asaripallam government medical college in Nagercoil. Kulasekaram Police have intensified the investigation.
