Thiruvananthapuram: ULA Rail, a private rail tour agency in collaboration with Indian Railways, has introduced a travel package named ‘Royal Rajasthan with Goa and Statue of Unity.’ The package caters to dream destinations, including Goa and Rajasthan, with an added opportunity to visit the iconic Statue of Unity in Gujarat.
Scheduled for 11 nights and 12 days, the journey commences from Kochuveli on November 16th. The train will make stops at key stations such as Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Shornur, Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kasaragod.
On the third day of the tour, travellers will arrive in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The itinerary includes visits to renowned attractions like Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum, Jaswant Thada and Mehrangarh Fort. Subsequently, on the morning of the 20th, the journey proceeds to Jaisalmer, offering glimpses of Paan Haveli and the enchanting desert. A night drive will lead the way from Jaisalmer to Bikaner. On the 21st, visits to Junagadh Fort, Karni Mata Temple, and an evening arrival in Jaipur are scheduled. The following day, travellers will explore Jaipur’s landmarks, including Amer Fort, Jantar Mandar, City Palace, and Hawa Mahal.
Continuing the journey, the train will reach Ajmer on the 23rd, allowing time to visit Ajmer Sharif Dargah before heading to Udaipur. The 24th is dedicated to exploring Udaipur’s attractions, such as the City Palace, Jagadish Temple, Museum, Salonibari and Pratap Memorial. The tour then advances to Ekta Nagar on the 25th, with the highlight being the visit to the Statue of Unity. The return journey is set to commence on the same day, with a return to Kochuveli scheduled for the night of the 27th.
The travel package offers various classes, including First AC, Second AC, Third AC, and Sleeper classes. Pricing is structured as follows: Rs. 52,200 for first AC in the comfort category, Rs. 44,800 for second AC in the standard category, Rs. 32,250 for third AC in the economy category, and Rs. 21,600 for sleeper class travel.
