Kottayam: Renovation work for the Balikkalpura has begun at Thirunakkara Mahadeva Temple in Kottayam. As part of this renovation effort, the existing sculptures, known as darushilpams, have been replaced and will be temporarily exhibited near the Koothambalam area for public viewing. TC Ganesh, the president of the temple advisory committee, confirmed this arrangement, emphasizing the visibility for devotees.
The Balikkalpura will undergo renovation while preserving its original dimensions and design, and all darushilpams will be intricately recreated as part of the restoration process.
