Ernakulam:  The court will deliver a verdict today on the bail application of the accused individuals involved in the Karuvannur Cooperative Bank fraud case. Among those seeking bail are CPI (M) Councillor PR Aravindakshan and former bank accountant C.K. Jiles, both of whom were apprehended by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The bail decision will be handed down at the Kaloor PMLA court.

In the ongoing Karuvannur Cooperative Bank fraud case, Aravindakshan is the third accused, while Jiles is the fourth accused. The ED has put forward additional evidence implicating both individuals and has submitted the documents to the PMLA court in a sealed envelope. The court will make its verdict regarding the bail plea following a thorough review of this evidence.

Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is expected to submit a request for a stay order today, regarding the demand made by Peringandur Bank to acquire the case document.
