THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Today, the Kerala market once again witnessed a slight decline in gold prices.
After a week of decreases, the market experienced an increase yesterday, only to see another decline today. The onset of the Hamas-Israeli war triggered a rise in the international gold market, leading to fluctuations in the Kerala market as well.
As a result, the market price for 22-carat gold stands at Rs 5,555 per gram today, with 1 sovereign priced at Rs 44,440 in Kerala.
Similarly, there has been a slight decrease in the price of silver. One gram of silver is now selling for Rs 76, and one gram of hallmarked silver is available for Rs 103.
