Idukki: A boat capsized in Anayirangal Dam, and two people went missing. The missing persons were identified as Gopinathan and Sajeevan from 301 colony near Chinnakkanal.
The distressing event occurred as the boat was en route from Anayirangal to the colony. According to reports, Sajeevan attempted to swim to the banks but later went missing. According to the local residents, Gopinathan does not know how to swim.
The police have arrived at the site and initiated a search operation to locate the missing individuals.
