Thrissur: BJP councillors staged a one-day protest in Kodungallur municipality, highlighting their concerns over alleged irregularities and scams within the left administration. The demonstration focused on issues such as the lack of development progress, misappropriation of revision funds, and the persisting state of deteriorating roads.

Radhakrishna Menon, a member of the BJP state committee, inaugurated the protest. Party leaders emphasized their strong opposition to the perceived unfair distribution of funds to deserving wards and raised concerns about the Left Administration’s alleged ulterior motive to gain control over the Kodungallur Temple.

During the event, parliamentary party deputy leader Reshmi Babu, Kodungallur constituent President KS Vinod, Kodungallur constituent general secretary Vidyasagar, and others addressed the gathering. The protest was presided over by Kodungallur Municipality Leader of Opposition, TS Sajeevan.
