Kollam: The accused involved in an attempted murder case launched an attack on police. The incident took place near the Ayiroor police station in Kollam. Anas Khan, the suspect in a case at Kollam Paravur police station, and Deva Narayanan, from Villikadavu, carried out the assault. The police have caught the assailants and registered their arrests.
Anas Khan and Deva Narayanan attacked the police at approximately 10:30 p.m. last night. In the attack, CPO Binu sustained injuries to his hand while attempting to stop them. The police managed to subdue both individuals in an adventurous operation. The arrests of Anas Khan and Deva Narayanan were recorded by the police.
Anas Khan has been previously involved in an attack on the police. He was accused of assaulting policemen at the Kallambalam police station last year.
