ERNAKULAM: The license of a driving school in Eloor, Kochi, has been suspended for the involvement in malpractices during vehicle tests. It has been reported that the license of a private driving school named ‘Udyogamandal Driving School’ was suspended for assisting examinees during the ‘H-test’.
Applicants seeking four-wheeler driving license were required to drive an ‘H-shaped track.’ The candidates while attending test, the trainer assisted candidates by providing tips via Bluetooth on their mobile phones.
Upon suspicion raised by the Motor Vehicle Inspector during an intensified inspection, it was discovered that candidates were receiving tips from the trainer at the driving school while taking the ‘H-test.’
Confirming these findings, authorities have cancelled the school’s license. Presently, several candidates are enrolled at the driving school. Considering this, authorities have announced that the suspension will take effect from January 1, 2024.
