THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Reports indicate that MBBS students at Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) will receive another chance to complete their first-year examinations.
It is reported that those admitted to the 2020-21 academic batch and who have not yet passed their first year are expected to be granted this chance.
The proposal is under consideration due to demands from various quarters, including Mohan Kunnummel, Vice-Chancellor of KUHS, who raised the matter during a recent meeting of the National Medical Council (NMC).
Considering the numerous dropouts among the MBBS students, there is considerable pressure for this decision.
