KASARAGOD: In a shocking and deeply disturbing incident, a minor girl was brutally assaulted by a madrasa teacher in Kasaragod district. Abdul Hamidi (44), a native of Kumbla, was arrested in the POCSO case based on the complaint filed by the child’s parents at Kumbla Police station.
The incident came to light when the parents, who were suspicious of the child’s behavior after she returned home from studying in the madrasa, inquired about the matter.
Upon the child revealed the details to her parents.
The arrested accused was produced in court and remanded for 14 days.
