Pathanamthitta: Sabarimala is facing a shortage of ambulance services, raising widespread complaints among pilgrims. The issue came to the forefront when the ambulance belonging to the Devaswom Board broke down, leaving only one ambulance from the forest department for service.
Despite the breakdown, the Devaswom Board has not taken steps to replace the non-functional ambulance. Authorities have yet to address the situation, leaving the shortage unresolved even days after the breakdown. If there’s an emergency, authorities need to bring an ambulance from Charalmedu to Sannidhanam.
