Idukki: District Police Chief TK Vishnu Pradeep has said that security will be provided to the family of the 6-year-old girl who tragically lost her life being a victim of sexual assault in Vandiperiyar. In response to the recent attack on the child’s father and grandfather, the police chief assured that both the residence and the surroundings of the victim’s family will be closely monitored by the police.
With the aim of ensuring the safety of the family members, the police will enhance night patrolling in the area, as stated by the District Police Chief. He emphasized that specific instructions have been issued to the Vandiperiyar Station House Officer (SHO) regarding this matter. Additionally, the police chief debunked rumors claiming that the girl’s family would be accompanied by security personnel, deeming such reports baseless.
