KSRTC bus service disrupted: Passengers complain of poor conditions and frequent halts on Pathanamthitta-Coimbatore route

PATHANAMTHITTA:  The KSRTC bus service from Pathanamthitta to Coimbatore was once again halted while on route to Coimbatore.

KSRTC informed that the service was stopped due to some technical issues. This caused a crisis for many passengers after the bus service was interrupted. The bus service, scheduled between 9 am and 9.30 am, was stopped, causing inconvenience to the passengers.

Since it was a morning service, all seats were occupied by passengers.

Several allegations have also been raised, suggesting that the frequent occurrence of such problems is due to KSRTC using old buses in poor condition, and services are provided without renewing the permits of the buses.
