Thiruvananthapuram: Malayalm Big Boss fame and director Akhil Marar says that Suresh Gopi will definitely win in Thrissur in the forthcoming election. He questions communist activists advocating for secularism while seeking support from individuals affiliated with various caste and religious organisations.
Marar argues that Suresh Gopi’s outreach goes beyond political affiliations, citing instances from the actor’s past where he reportedly intervened for the welfare of children with AIDS, namely Benson and Bency. Marar dismisses claims that Gopi’s actions were motivated by a desire for political fame, emphasizing the actor’s longstanding commitment to helping those in need.
Addressing Suresh Gopi’s financial contributions, Marar mentions that despite Suresh Gopi’s substantial earnings from the film industry, he allocates a significant portion for charity purposes. According to Marar, Suresh Gopi uses a portion of his income, even up to two-thirds, to assist those facing hardships, contributing to various charitable causes.
Marar concludes by urging critics to refrain from criticising every action of Suresh Gopi solely based on his BJP affiliation. He thinks that going against Gopi might actually gather more public support for him.
