Alappuzha: The Hindu Aikya Vedi Alappuzha District Committee has filed a formal complaint against a civil police officer, Sajeesh, from the Thrikkunnapuzha police station, accusing him of disseminating propaganda against Ayodhya’s Prana Prathishta on Facebook with the intent to fuel communal tensions.

Sajeesh allegedly used his Facebook profile to share a controversial post insulting Ayodhya Sree Rama Temple and Lord Rama. The Hindu Aikya Vedi contends that this behavior by a police officer, whose role demands social neutrality, is unacceptable.

The complaint urges Alappuzha Police Chief to take strict action against Sajeesh for violating the rules of service and bringing disgrace to the police force. It points out that a review of Sajeesh’s Facebook profile reveals multiple posts of a similar nature.
