Thrissur: Three DYFI leaders were arrested in Thrissur for burning a poster of Lord Rama, which was installed as part of Ayodhya’s Prana Prathishta. The accused, identified as Sisil, Akhil, and Kiran, all residents of Manaloor in Thrissur, were apprehended by the Anthikad police.

The incident took place in Yuvadarshan Nagar, Manaloor, where the accused burned the poster of Lord Rama on a board erected by Hindu believers. All three arrested individuals hold positions as DYFI office-bearers in the Manloor Bund Unit.

The Anthikad police took the accused into custody, revealing that the act occurred on January 22 at 9 pm when the perpetrators arrived in a car to carry out the vandalism. Police are actively searching for other individuals involved in the incident. The burning of Sree Rama’s poster has sparked widespread condemnation and protests from Hindu organizations.
