MVD official nabbed red-handed; MVD Inspector Abdul Jaleel arrested for accepting bribe

Kozhikode: Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI) Abdul Jaleel from the Motor Vehicle Department office at Feroke has been apprehended by the Vigilance department for accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000. The arrest occurred at his residence, where Jaleel was caught red-handed while transferring the illicit money into a bag, driven by the suspicion that Vigilance authorities were on the verge of inspecting his actions. Following the arrest, authorities are conducting a thorough search at his home, suspecting the presence of additional concealed funds.
