Thiruvananthapuram: Anil Kumar, the Chief Minister’s gunman and accused in the case of assaulting protesters during the Navakerala Sadas Yatra in Alappuzha, appeared at the Legislative Assembly today along with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The accused was supposed to appear for questioning at the Alappuzha South Police Station today, but he informed that he cannot appear for questioning.
A notice had been issued to Anil Kumar, directing him to appear for interrogation. However, the accused informed the authorities that he cannot appear for the questioning session.
The police had earlier registered a case against five individuals, including the Chief Minister’s gunman, in connection with the case following Alappuzha 1st Class Magistrate court order.
