Palakkad: The much-anticipated first Aastha Special train service from Kerala to Ayodhya, scheduled to begin its service today, has been rescheduled. Sources reveal that the cancellation is attributed to the unavailability of necessary coaches due to the surge in pilgrims from North Bharat.

This Aastha Special train, which was set to depart from Palakkad, was slated to be the first Aastha Special Train service from Kerala to Ayodhya. Originally planned to commence its service at 7:10 am today, the cancellation has affected booked passengers, who will be informed about the rescheduled date at a later time. There are indications that the service may resume approximately after a week.

The announcement of train services from Palakkad to Ayodhya, initially scheduled for February 4, 9, 14, 19, 24, and 29, is also expected to undergo modifications. The change in schedule is likely to inconvenience passengers who were planning to undertake the pilgrimage on the specified dates.
