Thrissur: 25 students from RMVHSS Perinjanam have sought medical treatment due to suspected food poisoning. Preliminary findings suggest that the source of the contamination is a biriyani consumed by the students during a send-off event at the school two days ago. The health condition of the affected students is not deemed serious.
The discomfort among the students began yesterday morning, prompting their immediate transfer to the Primary Health Centre. Hospital authorities have confirmed that the students received first aid, and their overall condition is deemed satisfactory. In response to the incident, officials from the Health Department are scheduled to visit the school for a thorough inspection.
