Raipur: A communist terrorist was killed in an encounter with the District Reserve Guard (DRG) team in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. The terrorist was discovered during an inspection conducted by the DRG team in the Burkalanka jungle area.
The DRG conducted the inspection based on confidential information. Upon sighting the officers, the terrorists opened fire on the group. Police have informed that a search is underway in the area.
On the 18th of this month (February), a member of the Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF), was martyred in a communist terrorist attack in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. Commander Tijau Ram Bhurya, who led the CAF team, died heroically fighting the terrorists. The communist terrorists attacked the CAF team when the CAF team were patrolling the village markets.
